23" Twinns Face Mold Photos

Inscribed Neck Dates and scalp imprints are given as a quick reference to help identify the face molds. 

Refer to the 23" Twinns Face Mold Reference Chart for details. 

Scalp imprints may include extra numbers not included in these listings which were left out for simplicity (there are more than one physical mold for a face type and it is thought the numbers may refer to a specific mold within a face type).

Remember the inscribed neck dates are part of the mold and do not indicate the date of the doll.  The body tag is a better indicator of the date the doll was assembled, however bodies are often replaced for repair or by collectors seeking to match the head to a body from the same "era". A knowledge of the history is an essential tool in understanding these collectible dolls.
